Hello and Welcome,

The easiest way to do this is to direct you to a support area that has flash movies for subjects like this.  Go to:

http://webolocity.com/support/

And click on "Cpanel - RVSkin (Blue)" and then cllick on "Password protecting a directory" or the driect link below......

From ThePlanet (TX)  Data Center:

We will be performing maintenance on the WDM gear which provides the network uplink for these datacenters Thursday morning, April 6, 2006.  This work is not expected to cause any network issues but due to the nature of the work it is possible for unexpected latency and/or packet loss to occur during the maintenance.  The maintenance will begin at 12:01AM CDT and will last for 4 hours.

and

On Thursday morning, April 6, 2006 The Planet will be conducting site-wide network maintenance at the DLLSTX5 data center for 2 hours, beginning at 1:00AM CDT.

Hello,

On Tuesday morning, March 28, 2006, beginning at 12:01AM CDT The Planet will be conducting network maintenance on router MXR01.DLLSTX5 for 2 hours.

Although maintenance of this type should be transparent to customer servers and infrastructure, it is possible that some latency and packet loss may be experienced for very brief periods of time during the maintenance.

Thank you for hosting with us at The Planet!

from cpanel if you go to your email accounts you can set  up email "aging" which is how long emails stay on the webolocity server after they were successfully checked by  a pop client

Well, You can always go to http://domainname.com:2095...but that jiust brings you to the same login screen as /webmail.

and beyond that there is no eaiser way I know of...But I would also suggest you check the Cpanel Forms and see if there is an idea there.

As a reseller, i like to show my clients how they can check their email from any computer on the web.  But it is cumbersome!  They have to go to ipname.com/webmail and log in.  Thats easy enough, but then they have to choose from one of three programs to then check their email.  Try explaining the "why" on that one to a customer.  And now it seems with squirrel mail you have to re-enter your email address and password a second time.

Isnt there an easier way to check email from the web?!
